Shiners Dew

Homozygous for black, AQHA black stallion (will not produce a red foal)

Pre enrolled in the NRBC in Texas for his 4, 5 and 6 year old years.  He was in training to prepare to show him in his 6 year old year.  This next year will be devoted to Shiner and making him an outstanding Reining Horse with some local shows to begin with and then some AQHA and NRHA shows.   Shiner has been doing quite well.

He is also Eligible for the AQHA Incentive Fund

AQHA 2007 Black StallionHe is tested Homozygous for the black gene (EE).   He will not sire a red foal  and unless your mare carries Agouti (the black points gene) and throws it, he won't sire a bay either.  If you want a black foal...this is the stallion.   He is a Shining Spark  grandson on the top side of his pedigree and Grays Starlight  on the bottom side.  This fine black stallion is built compact.and ready to win..and he is only a yearling and 2 year old in the above photos.  He has been taught to mount the phantom and collect into an Artificial Vagina for Artificial Insemination and Cooled and Frozen shipped semen across the country.  His first foal crop will hit the ground this year.

Shiners Dew is already enrolled in the NRBC (National Reining Breeders Classic) in Texas and we plan to be showing him there as a 6 year old  and he will be shown  in schooling shows, here locally...he is currently being broke to ride and in reining training and doing wonderfully, showing great athleticism and willingness with an awesome disposition.  He is very athletic, smart and willing...Quick learner and extremely gorgeous!  Great mind on this boy.

Check out his full 4 generation pedigree.  and scroll down to print contracts and book to this fine, up and coming stallion.

Check out the COLOR CALCULATOR  for an estimate of what your mare will throw if bred to Shiners Dew.

Shiners Dew  is standing here at The Lewis Ranch Stallion Station for a stud fee of only $600 and includes a $50 booking fee payable with the completed contract at time of booking.   The remainder of the stud fee ($550) isn't due until you drop off your mare for on farm breeding or sometime before you will need the shipment if you are breeding by cooled shipped semen.  Shipping is by Fed Ex and is still $200 and mare care is just 8/day for a dry mare and $10 /day for a wet mare/day.  We offer an earlybird  $50 discount for booking your mare by January 1 each year as well as a multiple mare discounts and referral discounts (mares can be booked to different stallions) of $50 each off the stud fee, so refer a friend and your friend can also get $50 off for booking with or because of you to any of our stallions.
