Stallion Management **We offer Mobile Services and will come to your ranch   Artificial Insemination of Fresh Semen, Cooled/Frozen Semen Shipment or Live Cover Training to a Phantom and AV for your stallion-$350- (includes semen evaluation & test cooling/freezing) Semen evaluation, test cooling/freezing semen, cooled/frozen shipped semen, Frozen semen storage Teach your stallion to mount a phantom, collect into an artificial vagina, with evaluation of semen which consists of motility,morbidity,concentration, volume and also includes cooled/frozen semen test evaluation for shipping. Stallions usually require 4 or 5 sessions to be successfully trained to mount and collect from a phantom-some with, and others without a mare located nearby.  Some stallions may require more sessions to be completely trained, thus success cannot be guaranteed.  Mobile Semen evaluation without phantom training is $250 (stallion already collects) or $300 for a quick course and collection for evaluation and consists of evaluation of semen and shipping evaluation for cooled semen using 3 extenders. Simple Test Freeze-(approximately 70% of reproductively sound stallions frozen via this testing protocol have achieved adequate post-thaw motility and fertility)- includes testing by two freezing protocols and semen collection and evaluation. Cooled Semen Testing-72 hour test and includes 3 semen extenders tested Live Cover Training for your stallion-(usually requires 2-3 sessions)   Reproductive Management and Mare Care Breeding Facilities & Equipment    Halter Breaking $300 for 30 days 1.  Catch and be able to put halter on and off.   2.   Be able to pick up all four feet  3.  Brush, Groom and fly spray  4.  Lead, tie and stand quietly 5. voice commands: walk, whoa and back  6.  Move away from pressure both ways Colt Breaking  $400 per month 1.  Halter breaking (see above)  2.  Lounging both ways in 3 gaits  3.  under saddle and bridle  4.  Trailer breaking  5. ride    Trailer Breaking  $100 We will keep your horse for approximately 15 days.  Be able to load, unload and travel in a horse trailer.       The Ranch A work in progress: The ranch is coming along but takes time...We are currently working on our Stallion Station and breeding facilities Places to Ride We have a round pen and large arena as well as use of surrounding ranchers roads and access to Cottonwood Creek for riding. The Lewis Ranch The Lewis ranch is located in the foothills of Woodlake, California in a little town called Elderwood about 20 minutes Northeast of Visalia. Just SouthWest of the Elderwood Market on your way to the famous Lyons Rodeo held every year in May on Mother's Day weekend.
