2010 Foals can be purchased in utero at a huge discount.
Buying a foal in utero is a little more of a guessing game or "grab bag" scenario due to unknown gender and color although having homozygous stallions and mares that have been DNA typed for color, we can usually narrow the color possibilities way down for you and, of course, gender is a 50/50 chance in every case. :)
**We are temporarily lowering the price of all of our foals in utero. We normally price them at 50% off what we would plan to ask for the foal once it hits the ground. We are temporarily putting most these foals in utero at less than 20% of a regular asking price. You cannot breed and feed your own mare for these prices. Pay while you wait.
2010 Paint, Black and Grullo Foals for sale in utero
1. Justa Little Calgirl: (pictured below with her sorrel 2009 filly that is also for sale). This mare is a 1998 AQHA granddaughter of both Smart Little Lena on the top and Just Plain Colonel on the bottom, ( Just Plain Colonel stood at The Ward Ranch and is now deceased so, naturally, he will not produce anymore foals. This will make sons, daughters, grandsons and granddaughters, soon to be ...very rare).
Justa Little Calgirl is bred to Shiners Dew (our homozygous black stallion) for a 2010 foal that can be purchased in utero for $800 (reduced for a very limited time) with a live foal guarantee. This foal should be black as this mare doesn't have any Agouti in her pedigree up close. This stallion is homozygous for Black so he will never produce a red foal. Foal will be priced at $3500-$5000 when it hits the ground. Buy in utero and save. SOLD!

2. Peppy King Colonel , our 2002 black AQHA Mr San Peppy bred mare

3. Kotten Kandy Kane , our 1994 APHA Liver Chestnut/white homozygous paint mare (she has glass blue eyes) was bred to Pbs Starbuck and she foaled on 3/17/09 a palomino-dun/white filly that is really built and very flashy and is for sale (pictured).
Filly does not have blue eyes.
We have the mare checked in foal to Bueno Blue Badger for a 100% guaranteed paint (mare is homozygous for Tobiano), sire is homozygous for black so it cannot be a red foal and will be a paint. Sire carries dun factor and a cream gene and mare has glass blue eyes that she occasionally throws to her foals. Mare is not thought to carry a hidden Agouti gene. This foal could be interesting and very rare in color, and could end up with glass blue eyes. $800 (price reduced for a limited time) for this foal in utero or we may consider selling this Apha registered homozygous liver chestnut mare in foal for $2500. Mare was very broke at one time but is being sold breeding sound only. Filly at her side is also for sale for $2500 and a 3 in 1 package (mare in foal with palomino/dun paint weanling filly) can be arranged for $4000. (3 in 1 package).

4. CF Cricketswintersong our 2001 APHA Bay/white homozygous Tobiano mare is also bred to Bueno Blue Badger , our Homozygous for black, Smokey Grullo stallion, for a guaranteed paint foal in 2010. Foal is for sale in utero for $800 (price reduced for a limited time). Foal comes with a live colored foal guarantee. It should be smokey grullo or grullo/white or smokey black or black/white as the stud carries no red gene (he is homozygous for black), with cream and dun factor as well. The foal will receive a black gene, and possibly a dun gene and a cream gene from the stallion. Mare carries both red and black genes and black points so a homozygous for black, bay/white or zebra dun or buckskin/dunskin is also possible.
No solid and no chance for a sorrel/chestnut! Guaranteed a paint.

5. COSA TINA
Our gorgeous, foundation bred palomino mare, Cosa Tina ( Bueno Chex, King Fritz, Poco Tivio and Steelman on her papers) is in foal to Bueno Blue Badger (Homozygous for Black, Smokey Grullo stallion) for about a 97% foundation bred foal in 2010. This foal will be Smokey Grullo, Grullo, Smokey Black, Black or Smokey Cream as the stallion and the mare both carry a cream gene and the stallion is homozygous for black so there is NO chance of a red foal and Stallion is a dun so Smokey grullo or Smokey Cream Dun is highly possible. Foal is not for sale.
