WE CAN FINANCE THE STUD FEE for you for up to 6 months so you can breed your mare without having to come up with a one lump some of money at breeding time! We also offer payments for up to 6 months on the purchase of our horses for sale. Please ask when you book your mare and I can let you know if this is something we can do at that time.
The Lewis Ranch Stallion Station is now offering the opportunity to book your mare, either now, (before January 1) and begin making payments on the stud fee (with a $50 discount for booking early and no interest, of course). Finance the stud fee and pay for it over the winter so it is paid for by the time you drop off your mare or order your shipment of semen. Or you can even wait until after Christmas to begin paying as long as it is fully paid for by the time you drop off your mare or order your semen to be shipped.
Stud fees and the Shipping fee for cooled shipped semen of $200 (for 2 doses) must be paid in full before semen can be shipped and mare care of $8/day for a dry mare and $10/day for a wet mare (foal at side) must be paid in full at time of pick up of your mare from The Lewis Ranch Stallion Station. No charge for ultrasounds or Ai or chute fees for on farm breeding (no hidden costs). We may occasionally use a hormone to hasten ovulation or bring your mare into heat (with your permission, and at a minimal cost to you, paid with mare care at time of pick up). Our breeding season runs from February 1 through July 1st, each year (with an occasional exception if we need to finish up a mare or wait for one to foal late in the season).
Financing is available for up to 6 months (upon request) so you can pay for it over the winter instead of having to worry about coming up with the money to breed your mare all at once in the Spring. Mare care and shipping fees cannot be financed but are paid separately and are not due until just before shipping or until you pick up your mare in the case of on farm breeding. You can even switch stallions (or mares if you need to later) if you have booked early and change your mind, or something changes later. We are pretty flexible on that issue as well as switching mares if something happens and you cannot breed the mare you had originally booked.
Just pick your stallion and go to his page and print his contract (and shipping addendum if shipping cooled semen) and send in with $50 or use your credit card from each stallions page to pay the $50 by credit card, ATM or checking account.
